Percy Jackson and the Olympians, book 1 the Lightning Thief is a fantasy book by Rick Riordan. This book combines Greek mythology and the real world to create a story that combines realistic settings(sort of) and ancient myths. These books are amazing stories that are hard to put down, and I would recommend them to any myth-loving kid. Some downsides to this book is that it is a bit long (and by a bit, I mean like 400 pages or so) and that the words are kind of squished together so it might not be so clear to read. But overall, I give it a 4 out of 5 stars.
